Earl R. Pidcoe

MILTON - Earl R. Pidcoe, 82 passed away, Monday, August 9, 2010 at his residence. Earl was born May 26, 1928 in Williamsport the son of the late Mark P. and Edna R. (Entz) Pidcoe. He was married to the former Virginia A. Good on December 30, 1951 and they celebrated 58 years of marriage. He retired in 1991 from R.C. Stahlnecker of Milton and was also a self-employed farmer. Earl attended Mooresburg United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Milton Masonic Lodge #257 he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his loving wife, two sons Barry G. (Ruth) Pidcoe of Milton and Allen J. (Faith) Pidcoe of Windsor, PA Two granddaughters Lauren and Carla one step-grandson Gary Kaplan, one great granddaughter Arianna. Two brothers Harlan Pidcoe of Watsontown and Russell Pidcoe of Albuquerque, NM. Two sisters Rosanna Richart of Muncy and Madeline Swinehart of New Columbia. He was preceded in death by one sister Isabelle Pidcoe and two brothers Mark P. Pidcoe, Jr. and William I. Pidcoe, also one step-grandson John Kaplan. The funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton with Pastor Ricky Phillips officiating. There will be a public viewing on Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Montandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the VNA Hospice, 216 Independence St., Shamokin, PA 17872.
