Lewisberry—Earl M. Krone, 84, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Church of God Home in Carlisle. He was the husband of the late Bertha F. (Grissinger) Krone to whom he was married for 65 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Fairview Bethel Church of God, 800 Old Forge Rd, New Cumberland, with his pastor, the Rev. Gene Hockenberry, officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Church. Burial will be held in Emanuel Cemetery. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born March 14, 1928 in Lisburn he was a son of the late Lear and Floy (Brenamen) Krone. He retired from Lower Allen Sewer Plant after several years of employment and was previously employed with Hershey Creamery in Harrisburg as a truck driver, Bethlehem Steel and also operated his own farm for many years. A member of Fairview Bethel Church of God, he was also a charter of member of Lisburn Community Fire Company and Cumberland County Volunteer Fireman’s Association. Mr. Krone is survived by one son, Robert E. Krone and wife, Linda of Lewisberry; three daughters, Mary A. Wunderlich and husband, Merv of Spring Grove, Sharon K. Shaffer and husband, George of Manchester and Donna J. Feliksik and husband, Donald of Lewisberry; ten grandchildren, William Gleixner, Susan Cordell, Kathy Ishler, Bert Feliksik, Christine Paxton, Manning Shaffer, Steven Gleixner, A. Merv Wunderlich, Melissa Feliksik and Selena Barlow; 8 great grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Cordell, Zack Gleixner, Tyler Ishler, Sarah Gleixner, Gabriella Ishler, Mackenzie Paxton and Alexis Ishler; son-in-law, Paul Wert and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Krone Wert; granddaughter, Debra L. Krone, great granddaughter, Emily Gleixner and two sisters, Hazel Paull and Gladys McCullen. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Bethel Mission Committee, 800 Old Forge Rd, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
