Earl L. Barninger

YORK – Earl L. Barninger, 85, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Rest Haven – York. He was the husband of the late Joan A. (Keller) Barninger. Funeral service and burial will be private in Holy Saviour Cemetery with Full Military Rites provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Born August 2, 1928 in Marysville, Perry Co., a son of the late Charles H. and Mary M. (Kauffman) Barninger he retired from Caterpillar, Inc. Mr. Barninger was a member of James A. Danner VFW Post, Etters, Loyal Order of Moose, and Dallastown American Legion. He was a US Navy veteran of both WWII and the Korean War. Mr. Barninger is survived by a brother, Lawrence Barninger of Carlisle; and a sister, Doris Flenner of New Bloomfield. He was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Charles, and Bernard Barninger; and four sisters, Mary Shugarts, Betty Bowman, Jane Sackrider, and Eileen Allan.
