Earl E. Chub" Loudenslager

WILLIAMSPORT - Earl E. "Chub" Loudenslager, 80, died on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Manor Care North. He was the husband of Maxine Fay (Ohnmeiss) Loudenslager for 58 years. The couple was married on August 15, 1950. Earl was born on May 12, 1928 in Eldred Township and was a son of the late Leroy Hope and Grace Irene (Evans) Loudenslager. He was a former employee of Mostellers Dairy and Valley Farms. He was a member of the Evangelical Friends Church in Williamsport. Earl enjoyed wood working, country music, his family and his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Maxine, he is survived by five daughters and three sons-in-law; Carol L. Grimes of Williamsport, Judy I. and Louie Hopkins of New Oxford, Wanda L. and Bob Kiesinger of Williamsport, Mary Ann Loudenslager of Clearfield, Utah and Beryl J. Nead and Robert F. Caulkins of Ogdensburg, NY, nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and three sisters; Bertha Braunbeck of Williamsport, Ruth Boyles of Warrensville and Irene Miller of Jersey Shore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son who was the twin of Beryl, Earl E. Loudenslager, Jr. in 1983 and three brothers; Donald, Elmer and Elwood. In keeping with Earl's wishes, all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lycoming Unit, 1948 E. 3rd Street, Williamsport, PA 17701-3945. Arrangements are being handled by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
