Earl C. Bosserman, Jr.

SPRING GROVE- Earl C. Bosserman, Jr., 78, of Jackson Township, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Berkheimer) Bosserman. The couple celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary May 25, 2020. Viewing will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York, with full military honors by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Bosserman was born in York on April 19, 1942, the son of the late Earl C. Bosserman, Sr. and Helen M. (Stambaugh) Bosserman. He retired from GTE where he worked as a lineman and cable splicer and also retired from Bailey’s Motor Coach. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Bosserman was past commander of York County Veterans Honor Guard, West York VFW, and District 21. He was a member of West York Viking Club, 13th Ward Political Club, Rooster Club, Shiloh American Legion #791, and 12th Ward Political Club. Mr. Bosserman leaves four sons, Robert, Daniel, William, and Charles Bosserman; two daughters, Wanda “Shelly” Geesey and Christine Proulx; 15 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three sisters, Debra Shaub, Cathy Martin, and Carol Glass.
