Duane M. Bodine

Wellsburg, New York Duane Bodine, Age 75 of Thompson Hill Road, Gillett, PA passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. Duane's service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA. Duane was born August 23, 1933 in Burlington Township, PA, son of the late Melden C. and Lucille A. Darrow Bodine. He was married to the Katherine Stilson on December 26, 1986. Duane was retired following 39 years of service from Kennedy Valve where he worked as a machinist. He was a member of the Ridgebury Sportsman Club. His other interests included hunting and NASCAR racing especially following Geoff Bodine. Survivors include his wife Katherine A. Bodine of Ridgebury, PA, a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and John Tubolino of Norwich, NY, a sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Richard Patton of Athens, PA, sister and brothers-in-laws, Velda Guiles of Waverly, NY, Donna and Phil Johnson of Elmira, NY, Leo Stilson of Corning, NY, Kenneth Mills of Elmira, NY, three grandchildren, thirteen nieces and nephews and many cousins.
