Dr. William S. Frank

Dr. William S. Frank, 65, passed away on July 9th surrounded in loving support by his family and friends. His positive attitude and love of life will be greatly missed by his life partner, 3 children, their spouses, 8 grandchildren and many close friends. His passions included taking care of others, laughing, loving and lifelong learning. For 37 years he actively practiced as a Doctor of Internal Medicine where he forged close relationships with his patients and developed lifelong friends. When not serving others he spent his time outdoors, was a voracious reader, an avid runner and an annual polar beer plunge participant (even after diagnosis). He loved his family and traveled great distances to see grandchildren, nieces/nephews, sibling and friends including California, Hawaii, Maryland and Texas. Bill will be remembered for his passion for caring for others, his smiling eyes and his positive attitude. His grandchildren will especially remember 'Pop Pop' for his perpetually full pocketful of candy! Services will be private and any memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue Inc., 2 Heritage Farm Road, New Freedom, PA 17349. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements.
