Douglas Allen Harlacher

DOVER- Douglas Allen Harlacher, 20, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at home, with his mother by his side. A celebration of life tribute service will be 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A viewing will be from 3-5 p.m. prior to the service. Born on December 17, 1991, he was a son of Brent and Janet (Frerichs) Harlacher. Doug was a student at HACC and planned to continue on to Law School. Mr. Harlacher loved cars and animals. He enjoyed everything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and shooting clays. Doug had a wonderful personality who loved being around people and making them laugh. Along with his parents, Brent and Janet, Doug is survived by his beloved twin brother, Eric Charles Harlacher; his grandfather, Glenwood Harlacher; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Carol Frerichs and grandmother Madalyn Harlacher. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail N., York ,PA 17406.
