Dorothy S. (Anderson) Dill

FELTON-Dorothy S. (Anderson) Dill, 99, died Friday, May 9, 2008, at Manor Care Health Service - Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Dill. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with the Rev. Thomas R. Osenbach officiating. A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Dill was born January 29, 1909, in Chanceford Township, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Emenhieser) Anderson. She was formerly employed with Clark Jacobs and Jake Winters Cigar Factory, York Suit Company, and retired from Hellam Sewing Factory. Mrs. Dill is survived by a son, Charles J. Dill of Felton; two daughters, Genevieve E. Taylor and Joan P. Grove, both of Red Lion; nine grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; 14 greatgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Eichelberger of Wrightsville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.
