Dorothy M. (Throne) Bubb

YORK- Dorothy M. (Throne) Bubb, 89, died on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Rest Haven. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Bubb. The couple had been married for 41 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on May 19, 1926 in York, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Estella G. (Kuntz) Throne. Dorothy was a homemaker and also was the bookkeeper for Bob Bubb Signs for 30 years. Mrs. Bubb was a member of Trinity U.C.C. Dorothy enjoyed flowers and gardening. Mrs. Bubb is survived by two sons, Flint R. Bubb and his wife, Tami of Wellsville and Brooks J. Bubb of Hampstead, MD; three grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy and Holly Bubb; one sister in law, Shirley L. Throne; two nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald R. Throne and Robert C. Throne; and one sister in law, Clara E. Throne.
