RED LION - Dorothy M. (Ludlow) Druce, 90, died on Wednesday, February 04, 2015 at Dallastown Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Druce. The couple had been married for 56 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Certified Celebrant Jessica R. Smith officiating. A viewing will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on December 12, 1924 in Harrow, Great Britain, she was the daughter of the late Herbert F. and Edith A. (Pratt) Ludlow. Dorothy was a homemaker. Mrs. Druce was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Ridley Park. She was also a member of the Daughters of the British Empire and Eastern Star. Dorothy enjoyed being a foster mother for over 25 children and being a PTA mom. Mrs. Druce is survived by three daughters, Michelle Jacobson and her husband, Robert of Oxford, Dolores Shaw and Richard of Mullica Hill, NJ and Sharon Champagne and her husband, Normand of Red Lion; five grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, Daniel, Philip and Mathieu; and six great grandchildren, Faith, Garren, Vivian, Andre, Alexis and Ally.
