Dorothy L Pajtis

RED LION- Dorothy L. (Kobylinski) Pajtis, 83, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at Rest Haven in York. She was the wife of the late Stanley Joseph Pajtis, Jr.

Mrs. Pajtis was born in Baltimore, MD on June 11, 1940, the daughter of the late Karol and Jean (Kendzierski) Kobylinski. She retired from AT&T in Hunt Valley, MD, where she had worked for 28 years.

Dorothy was active in the Equine Meadows Community. She and her husband also enjoyed day and weekend trips to Ocean City, MD and Atlantic City, NJ.

Anyone who met Dorothy soon realized that she was the type of person who enjoyed life. She had an extremely giving heart and would always look to help others. She truly loved her family and was always there for them. She also had an adventurous side whether it was skiing for the first time in her 40’s or learning how to ride a horse. She knew how to have fun. In the end, the only thing that really matters are the memories we make with those we love. She never lost sight of that fact. We are so grateful to have had her in our lives. She will truly be missed.

Mrs. Pajtis leaves two sons, Stephen Pajtis and his wife Diana of Stuart, FL and David Pajtis and his wife Kathleen of Red Lion; three grandchildren, Ethan, Hannah, and Collin Pajtis; and a brother, Karol Koblinski of Myrtle Beach.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Services will be private. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
