Dorothy (Kuntz) Zech Klinedinst

YORK- Dorothy Zech Klinedinst was born in York, Pa on March 15, 1925 to Luther and Florence Kuntz. She graduated from William Penn High School in 1943 and from the York Hospital School of Nursing in 1946. She went on to get a Bachelor of Nursing Education from Millersville University in 1972. Dorothy worked for the VNA from 1946-1951, then served as a school nurse in the West York School District from 1966-1986, from which she retired. She was married to Paul Jules Zech for 40 years before his death in 1986. She was later married to Russel Klinedinst for 15 years before his death in 2004. Dorothy is survived by two sisters, Judy Yingling and Carol Leib and her husband, John. She was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Kuntz. She is also survived by three sons, J. Thomas Zech and his wife, Jana, David Zech and his wife, Patricia, and Jay Zech and his wife, Penny. She had seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements.
