Dorothy J. (Hengst) Sipe

HELLAM – Dorothy J. (Hengst) Sipe, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Manor Care Kingston Court. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Sipe. Tribute services will be announced at a later date. Private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Dorothy was born on December 17, 1931 in York, a daughter of the late Curvin E. and Almeda M. (Slenker) Hengst. She is survived by two sons, Michael R. and wife Maxine Sipe of Hellam and Gregory M. and wife Stacy Sipe of York; three grandchildren, Dannielle Knaub and husband Michael, Kristopher Sipe, and David Sipe; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Preston and Vernon Hengst; and three sisters, Gladys Hengst, Evelyn Collier and Helen Markel.
