Dorothy J. 'Dottie' (Fryer) Leitzel

MILTON - Dorothy J. “Dottie” (Fryer) Leitzel, 59, died Thursday, July 04, 2013 at her residence. She was born on March 23, 1954 in Lock Haven and was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Faye K. (Orndorf) Fryer. Dorothy was a 1972 Lock Haven High School graduate. She then went on to attend W.A.C. where she earned her license as an L.P.N. Dorothy married Randal J. Leitzel on August 28, 1996, who survives, and they celebrated 16 years of marriage together. She was employed at Woolrich Clothing Manufacturing, working in customer service. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband Randal, Dorothy is survived by two sons; Nicholas Norman of Milton and Matthew Norman and fiancé Melissa Erdly of New Columbia, four grandchildren; Jasmine, Colt, Ethan and Dyllon Norman, one brother and sister-in-law; Thomas and Melinda Fryer of Lock Haven, two sisters and one brother-in-law; Deborah Dershem of Lock Haven and Tammy and Charles Karichner of Lock Haven. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents. A public viewing will be held 10:00a.m. - 12:00p.m., Monday, July 8, 2013 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street. There will not be a funeral service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Milton. There will be a memorial luncheon following the burial at St. Joseph Catholic Parish Center, Cemetery Road, Milton PA 17847 Memorial contributions may be made to; The American Cancer Society, 1948 E.
