Dorothy I. (Frey) Craley

RED LION - Dorothy I. (Frey) Craley, 70, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at her residence. She was the wife of Loy C. Craley to whom she was married for 33 years on April 9, 2010. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 6:30-7:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Born June 27, 1940 in Red Lion a daughter of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Lentz) Frey, she had worked in several area sewing factories including Zero Restrictions and most recently at Family Heirloom Weavers. Mrs. Craley was a former member of New Bridgeville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, making crafts, painting, and ceramics. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Craley is survived by two daughters, Sharon R. and husband Michael Groff and Karen S. and husband Robert Korte both of Red Lion; two stepdaughters, Penny J. and husband Ray Wambaugh of Windsor and Angela J. and husband Rick Gellinger of Red Lion; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Frey, Jr. of Alabama; and three sisters, Patricia Grayson and Linda Frey both of York and Catherine Garner of Dover. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Kevin Craley; and a sister, Beverly Albright. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
