Dorothy H. Isaacs

YORK- Dorothy H. Isaacs, 88, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Lutheran Home on Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of the late James C. Isaacs, Sr. Funeral arrangements will be private per request of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born on December 18, 1925 in Lancaster, Dorothy was a daughter of the late Walter R. and Esther E. (Sheaffer) Hepler. She graduated from McCaskey High School in Lancaster in 1943. She was a civilian employee at the Pentagon where she worked as a transportation analyst in the office of the Deputy Chief of Logistics for 25 year until her retirement in 1973. Mrs. Isaacs is survived by a brother, James P. Hepler of York and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth H. Bradley.
