POTTSVILLE- Dorothy D. Lewis, 86, of Pottsville, passed away Friday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian Street, Pottsville. Born in Schuylkill Haven on May 12, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Helen Roeder. She attended Schuylkill Haven schools. She was a lunch lady for over 20 years at the former All Saints School, Pottsville. Dorothy was a member of Saint Patrick’s Church, Pottsville. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Lewis, who passed away January 23, 1997; her granddaughter, Amy Lewis Williams; her grandson, Joseph H. Rollman; her three brothers, Earl and George Killian and Harold Nye; her sister Pearl Honyara. Dorothy is survived by her three daughters, Gloria “Sue Wertman, wife of Richard and Jane Bruen, companion of Joe Vernay, both of Pottsville and Beth Ann Rollman, wife of Joseph, of Saint Clair; her three sons, Harold G. Lewis, Jr., husband of of Judy and Robert Lewis, husband of Dana, both of Pottsville and Jeffrey Lewis, partner of Tim Powell, of Winter Haven, FL; 11 Grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; her sister Helen Koperna, of Schuylkill Haven; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Patrick’s Church, 4th & Mahantongo Streets, Pottsville. Monsignor Edward J. O’Connor will officiate. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday morning from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, 6th and West Market Streets, Pottsville. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville. Memorial contributions can be made to Saint Patrick’s Church, 319 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
