Dorothy B. (Matheson) Legg

DUYEA-Dorothy B. (Matheson) Legg, 80, formerly of Crossin Towers, Duryea, died Monday, July 2, 2007, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. Born in Taylor on July 10, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Minerva (Thomas) Matheson. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Hillcrest Shades, Old Forge. Her husband, John W. Legg, preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons, John Legg, Dickson City; Daniel Legg, Duryea; Joseph Legg, Margate, FL; daughters Dorothy Ann Slater, Margate, FL; Beverly Webb, Duryea; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Murray, Fleetville; nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 728 Main St., Avoca.
