ROYERSFORD - Dorothy B. (Baker) Snyder, 89, a former Milton resident, died Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Parkhouse Providence Pointe, Royersford. She was born October 13, 1923, in Milton and she was the daughter of the late Norris and Jennie (Leiby) Baker. She was married to Edward H. Snyder on February 17, 1950, who survives, in which they celebrated 62 years of marriage together. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Milton, in which she served on the alter guild. She enjoyed animals, traveling, volunteering at Evangelical Hospital gift shop, and volunteered on the election board, Milton. In addition to her husband Dorothy is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Sandra Snyder and Steven Every, of Pottstown, one niece; Patricia and husband Dennis Hendricks of Milton, along with her beloved grand dogs, Jack and Ginger. Along with her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by one brother; Robert Baker and one sister; Mary Alice Baker. The funeral service for Dorothy will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Christ Lutheran Church, 1125 Mahoning St., Milton, with Pastor Pat Pittsnoggle officiating. Friends and family will be received from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Harmony cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, PA 17847
