Dorothea B. (Mccool) Bauer

SAINT CLAIR - Dorothea B. (McCool) Bauer, 86, of St. Clair died Thursday morning at her home. Dorothea was born in Pottsville, on February 13, 1922, a daughter of the late George and Hazel Moran McCool. She attended St. Clair Schools. She was married to William M. Bauer, who survives. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair. A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, Dorothea is survived by: her husband, William, St. Clair, two sons, William and his wife Elizabeth, Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Joseph and his wife Brenda of Pottsville; two daughters, Hazel and her husband Donald Chescavage, of Pottsville and Dolores and her husband Joe Jordan, of St. Clair; five grandchildren, D.J. Chescavage, Lisa Gerber, Scott Bauer, Tanya Svrcek and Joseph Bauer, Jr.; nine greatgrandchildren, Jordan Bauer, Brooke Bauer, Noah Bauer, Hunter Chescavage, Gabriella Gerber, Marty Svrcek, Sabastion Svrcek, Jacob Svrcek, and Julianna Svrcek; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son Paul; a great granddaughter, Angelina Chescavage; a brother William and a sister Helen Koran. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville. The Reverend Kevin Gallagher will officiate. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9 AM until time of service. Interment will be in the Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Peach Mountain.
