Doris V. "Dot" Molison

YORK – Doris V. “Dot” (Leik) Molison, 89, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at Rest Haven – York. She was the wife of the late Lester J. Molison.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Dot was born on September 11, 1934 in Red Lion, a daughter of the late Merril and Elin (McSherry) Leik. She enjoyed playing solitaire, scrabble, and completing word finds. In her younger years, she loved playing pinochle with her sister, brother-in-law, and mother. Dot also loved watching baseball, especially the New York Yankees.

Mrs. Molison is survived by a daughter, Pam S. Molison of York; a brother, Terry Leik of New York; and a sister, Charlene Ness of York. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Crone, Brenda DeJong, and Nettie Kruger.
