Doris R. Heimer

LOCK HAVEN - Doris R. (Wills) Heimer, 89, a former resident of Kephart Plaza died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Susque View Home where she resided for the past few years. She was born November 6, 1927 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Frank and Elva (Wilson) Wills. Her first husband Carl K. McGill and also her second husband Norman T. Heimer preceded Doris. She worked for the Lock Haven Hospital for 15 years as a nurse aide. Surviving are three daughters, Norma Yost of Fort Pierce, FL, Patricia Ann (Richard Fryer) Higgins and Linda Lee Cole both of Lock Haven. Five grandchildren Carrie, Casey, Shane, Crystal and Shelley also four great grandchildren. One sister Dorothy J. Maddy of Lock Haven. Doris was preceded in death by an infant brother Bud and a grandson Michael. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. There will be no visitation. Burial will be private at Dunnstown Cemetery.
