Doris Mae (Linn) Laubach

WATSONTOWN - Doris Mae (Linn) Laubach, 80, died on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Kramm Nursing Center in Watsontown. She was married to the late Zane H. Laubach in 1946 and who had died April 1984. Doris was born on August 30, 1928 in New Columbia and was a daughter of the late Ralph F. and Mary C. (Weaver) Linn. In her early years, she had worked at the Milton Shoe Factory and then was a dedicated homemaker. She was Lutheran by faith and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of AARP. Doris is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law; Zane A. "Butch" and Sara J. "Sally" Laubach of Watsontown, Harold R. and Libby A. Laubach of New Columbia and Barry L. Laubach and friend Elaine Fenstermacher of Pensacola, FL, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister-in-law; Albert L. Linn of Phoenix, AZ and Robert F. and Betty Linn of Milton and one sister; Mary Lou Rearick of Milton. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son; Brian R. Laubach, one daughter; Bonita K. Laubach and one brother; William L. Linn. There will be a public viewing 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the Salvation Army Church, 30 Center St., Milton, PA 17847 with the funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. Captains Harold R. Laubach, Jr. and Maggie Laubach will officiate the services. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
