YORK- Doris Mae (Baker) Jones, 88, of Springettsbury Township, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Daniel Lee Jones. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Burial will be private in Red Lion Cemetery. Mrs. Jones was born in Wilmington, DE on February 26, 1927, the daughter of the late Lewis Leroy and Alice Louise (Nuttall) Baker. She worked as a manager for Giant Food Stores in Laurel, MD and at the bakery at the former J’s Supermarket in York. Mrs. Jones leaves a son, Dwight W. “Ike” Jones of St. Petersburg, FL; three daughters, Ruth Ann Wiles of St. Petersburg, FL, Dawna L. Smeltzer of Red Lion, and Kim L. Day of York; 11 grandchildren, as well as numerous great, and great, great grandchildren, and two sisters, Barbara Doyle of Philadelphia and Joyce D. Foulke of Delaware. A son, Rodney C.
