Doris M. (Ott) Carson

WILLIAMSPORT - Doris M. (Ott) Carson, 83 passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services, Williamsport. She was born March 19 1928 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late George W. and Rose (Harkins) Ott. She worked at the former GTE Sylvania, Montoursville. Surviving are three sons George J. Carson of Williamsport, John L. (Carol) Carson of Carthage, NY and James Lenny (Jennifer) Carson, Jr. of Jersey Shore, also a daughter Sandra L.(Tim) Hill of Williamsport. Thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. One brother William Ott of Williamsport and a step-brother Jack Harkins of Tvares, FL, two sisters Kathryn Sechrist of S. Williamsport and Margaret (Russ) Toner of Williamsport. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kimberly Carson, four brothers Joseph, Lester, Richard, and Thomas and also two sisters Gertrude and Helen. A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M., Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Allen and Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street. Private interment will be at Montoursville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Manor Care Health Services (Arcadia Unit), 300 Leader Dr., Williamsport, PA 17701.
