Doris K. (Kennedy) Curran

BROGUE- Doris K. (Kennedy) Curran, 91, died on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Paul T. Curran who died in August of 2009. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at New Harmony Presbyterian Church, 2295 Delta Rd., Brogue, with her pastor, the Reverend Larry Parlett officiating. Born on May 19, 1930 in Airville, she was a daughter of the late Dale and Ardella (Jacobs) Kennedy. Doris was a school bus driver for the Red Lion Bus Company for 28 years. Mrs. Curran was a member of New Harmony Presbyterian Church. Doris is survived by two sons, Daniel T. Curran of Brogue and P. David Curran and his wife, Patsy of Brogue; two grandchildren, David L. Curran and Jen L. Smith; and brother, Lee Kennedy of Airville. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Leffler, Bertha Smeltzer and Sara Kennedy In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4250 Crums Mill Rd., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
