Doris E. Davenport

Doris E. Davenport, 69, of Pottsville, died October 24, 2013 at Schuylkill Medical Center – South. Born July 9, 1944 in Roedersville, Doris was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Katherine (Loubold) Bressler, Sr. She was a member of Salem Hetzel’s Lutheran Church, Pine Grove and was last employed as a dietary aide at the former Pottsville Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Valentine A. Davenport in 2011. She is survived by a brother LeRoy Bressler, Jr. and his wife Janet, Llewellyn; an uncle and aunt, Charles and Charmane Barnes, Hegins; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
