Doris B. (Smith) Gittins

WILKES-BARRE-Doris B. (Smith) Gittins, 80, of Poplar St., Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday evening at her home. Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 4, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mildred (Williams) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice, who passed away on May 21, 2000, and sisters Grace Barnes and Dorothy Smith. Surviving is her son, Maurice D. Gittins, Jr., with whom she resided; daughter Dorothy M. Thomas, Slocum; Mildred "Millie" Kehler and Doris Yurovchak, both of Wilkes-Barre; Debra White, Susquehanna; grandchildren, Richard and Jaimie Thomas; Holly Hischak; Kyle and Kambra Kehler; Jada Yurovchak; Maurice Davis and Kimberly, Jennifer and Joseph White; great grandchildren Nevaeh and Jordan Todd and Braden White; brother Donald Williams, Maryland; sister Ruthie Hunsinger, Florida; nieces and nephews.
