Doris A. (Winebrenner) Gleim

YORK - Doris A. (Winebrenner) Gleim, 88, formerly of Columbus, OH; passed away at York Hospital on Friday, August 21, 2009 following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Doyle H. Gleim. A private graveside celebration of her life will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Columbus, OH. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born March 27, 1921 in Sciotoville, Ohio a daughter of the late John E. and Ada F. (Porter) Winebrenner, she graduated from East High School in 1939. Mrs. Gleim is survived by two sons, Michael L. Gleim and wife Catherine of York and Stephen D. Gleim and wife Pamila of Athens, AL; four grandchildren, Timothy S. Gleim, Christina D. Gleim Little, Stephen D. Gleim Jr., and Stephanie D. Gleim Moore; six great grandchildren, Vanessa B. Shrider, Maeghan C. Alexander, Ashley M. Little, Connor M. Gleim, Catherine C. Gleim, and Stephen L. Moore; one great great granddaughter, Aubrey A. Shrider; a sister, Wanda F. Foster; and three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her eldest grandson, Michael Todd Gleim; and a brother, Paul E. Winebrenner.
