Doris A. Weikert

THOMASVILLE- Doris A. Weikert, 73, died at home Sunday morning, May 4, 2008. A graveside memorial tribute service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Holy Saviour Cemetery, 3420 Susquehanna Trail, York with the Rev. Dominic M. Di Biccaro officiating. The family requests that friends meet at the cemetery entrance at 9:45 a.m. Born October 4, 1934 in York, a daughter of the late Ralph and Edith (McKenrick) Weikert. She was Daddy's Girl and enjoyed working on antique cars with him. Doris was a hardworking woman and she never sat down. She took care of her family and loved to cook for them. Doris loved to spoil her great nephew, Malcolm. Surviving her are her brother, David Weikert of Thomasville, her niece, Christy and her husband, Javier Quezada of Lancaster; her nephew, Mark and his wife, Maggie Melhorn of Thomasville; and her great nephew, Malcolm Melhorn. Her three brothers, James, Calvin, and Richard Weikert and her sister, Sandra Melhorn, precede Doris in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O.
