Doris A. (Roush) Bingaman

WATSONTOWN - Doris A. (Roush) Bingaman, 91, died on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Riverwoods, Lewisburg. She was the last surviving member of the Roush family. Doris was born on April 11, 1918 in Winfield and was the daughter of the late Boyd W. and Martha V. (Martin) Roush. On August 16, 1941, she was married to the late Noel L. Bingaman and celebrated 59 years of marriage before his death in September 2000. She was the oldest member of the Winfield Baptist Church. Doris is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Todd B. Bingaman of Watsontown and Ty G. and Rebecca Bingaman of Ofalin, MO, one daughter and son-in-law; Pamela J. and James Williams of Milton, four grandchildren; Eric Bingaman of Leigh High Valley, Michael Bingaman of Muncy Hills, Jennifer Bingaman of Ofalin, MO and Kelcie Noel Williams of Milton and one great grandson; Shane Bingaman of Leigh High Valley. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers; Robert, Joseph, Martin, William, Truman, Luther and Bodie Roush and three sisters; Alberta Stover, Martha Crabb and Mary Alice Warntz. There will be a public viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton, PA. The graveside service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Winfield Baptist Church, 330 State Route 304, Winfield, PA 17889.
