Doris A. Eyler

WINDSOR - Doris A. (Clemens) Eyler, 79, died at 11:44 a.m. Sunday, August 19, 2007, at Rest Haven - York. She was the wife of the late Paul J. Eyler who died December 15, 2004. A graveside service and burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A cortege will assemble at the cemetery entrance at 10:45 a.m. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Eyler was born April 2, 1928, in Windsor. She was the daughter of the late Allen V. and Helen M. (Smeltzer) Clemens. She retired in March of 1990 as a bookkeeper with Fulton, Mehring & Hauser in York after many years of service. She was a 1946 graduate of Red Lion Area High School and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of both the Red Lion VFW Post #1446 and the Red Lion American Legion Post #543. Mrs. Eyler leaves her brother, James A. Clemens of Indianapolis, IN and numerous nieces and nephews.
