YORK- Dora Ruth (Zinn) Stover, 83, died on Friday, May 24, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Henry M. Stover, who died on August 2, 2008. The couple had been married for 56 years. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Pastor Amy Dows officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private in Mt. Rose Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Born on April 2, 1930 in York, she was a daughter of the late Earl L. Zinn and Naomi M. (Hinkle) Oberdick. Dora was a homemaker. Mrs. Stover was a member of Faith United Church of Christ. Mrs. Stover is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline I. Jamison and her husband, Jeffrey of York and Cindy Stover of York; four grandchildren, Shannon Jamison, Tavia Flanagan and her husband, Kyle, Jamie Billet and Tony Billet; three great-grandchildren, Liam Flanagan, Keira Flanagan and Hudson Billet; and one sister, Carmen Irene Gerber of Kalispell, MT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Church of Christ, 509 Pacific Ave., York, PA 17404 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
