RED LION - Donnie Y. [Smith] Warner, 66, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at York Hospital. She was the wife of James E. Warner to whom she was married for 43 years. A celebration of life tribute service will held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 4, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Pastor Brandon W. Testerman officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery. Born July 20, 1941 in Hopewell Twp., a daughter of the late Wilber Smith and the late Pauline [Grim] Smith Haines, she was a seamstress for various sewing factories in the York area. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Warner is survived by a son, Troy A. and wife Marty Warner of Airville; two granddaughters, Randi and Riley Warner; a brother, Daniel Smith of Felton; 10 sisters, Evelyn Grove of Red Lion, Jeanette Potter of Rutland, VT, Loretta Knaub of Red Lion, Diane Warner, Maxine Doring, and Debra Gantz all of York, Charmaine Michaels of Dallastown, Christine Garvey of Stewartstown, Vicky Bahn of Bittersville, and Wendy Drawbaugh of Hellam; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, James E. Warner, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc., 140 Roosevelt Ave., Suite 208, York, PA 17401.
