WILLIAMSPORT - Donna Maxine (Larcom) McCormick, 79, died Saturday, October 11, 2014 at her residence. She was born on January 31, 1935 in East Troy and was the daughter of the late Ivan and Lillian (Chamberlain) Larcom. Maxine was a graduate of Troy High School Class of 1953 and then went on and earned her business degree at Elmira Business School, Elmira NY, Class of 1955. She went on to work for Lycoming College as an office manager. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Williamsport and enjoyed her pets, knitting and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Maxine is survived by one daughter; Jennifer P. McCormick, of Williamsport, three grandchildren; Adam Soha and his wife Yomicko, of Japan, Rory Soha and his wife Lindsey, of North Carolina and Colby McCormick, of Williamsport, three great grandchildren; Noah, Miles and Rory Marie Soha, one brother; Stewart Chamberlain, of Enola and one sister and brother-in-law; Marlene and James DeVoe, of Millville. In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by one son; Kevin McCormick and one brother; Ed Larcom. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Beckoning Cat Project, 1417 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701. A gathering of friends and family will be held 6:00-7:00p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport, PA 17701 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 p.m. with certified celebrant Betty Frey officiating.
