BROGUE- Donna Mae (Snyder) Taylor, 79, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in York. She was the wife of the late Arthur H. Taylor, Jr. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1674 Furnace Rd. in Brogue, with a viewing from 10-11:30a.m. at the church. Pastor Kim Cartwright will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Taylor was born in Shenks Ferry on July 12, 1938, the daughter of the late Emory and Eva (Tracey) Snyder. She retired from Autokraft Box Company after 41 years of service. Mrs. Taylor was an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Brogue. She looked forward to their church picnics, pot pie suppers and the rummage sales. She was a member of Farm Women Group #21, Red lion Ambulance Auxiliary, and Happy Workers Circle. She enjoyed baking cookies, big meals, putting puzzles together, and especially spending time with her family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. Mrs. Taylor leaves four sons, Todd Taylor and his wife Yvonne of Red Lion, Scott Taylor and his wife Kim of Delta, Mark Taylor and his wife Tara of Summerville, SC, and Mike Taylor and his wife Tammy of Brogue. Also 11 grandchildren, Jarod Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Tonya Mason, Kellen Taylor, Kara Schama, Corey Taylor, Chad Taylor, Megan Hawthorne, Jayd Taylor, Makaya Taylor, and Taryn Taylor; three great grandchildren, Brody, Carly, and Lane; and a brother, Dean Snyder and his wife Doris of New Bridgeville. A brother, H. Levere Snyder had preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Taylor’s name to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1674 Furnace Rd., Brogue, PA 17309.
