Donna L. (Myers) Baker

YORK- Donna L. (Myers) Baker, 77, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Providence Place in Dover. She was the wife of Raymond F. Baker. The couple would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this coming Friday, July 28th. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be held from 6-7 PM prior to the service. Born in York, Donna was a daughter of the late Richard L. and Mildred R. (Brenner) Myers. She was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School, Class of 1957. She went on to work as a library clerk for the West York Area School District at Lincolnway School. Donna was a lifelong Steelers fan, but her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren, who made her world go round. In addition to her beloved husband, Raymond, Mrs. Baker is survived by two sons, Daniel R. Baker and his wife Hope of York, and Douglas A. Baker and his wife Susan of York; a daughter, Diane K. McFatridge and her husband Michael of York; eight granddaughters; two step-grandsons; a step-granddaughter; three great-grandsons; a brother, Richard L. Myers Jr. and his wife Julie of York, and a sister, Virginia L. Botterbusch and her husband Robert of Florida.
