Donna L. (Liichow) Hurlbert

COLUMBIA- Donna L. (Liichow) Hurlbert, 89, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Rev. Donald E. Hurlbert, who passed away on January 22, 2011. A visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Born on May 3, 1924 in Coral, MI, she was the daughter of the late Emerson and Sadie (Jones) Liichow. Donna graduated from the Moody Bible Institute. Donna was a dedicated homemaker, pastor’s wife and a loving mother. Mrs. Hurlbert was a member of Church of the Open Door. Mrs. Hurlbert is survived by five sons, David Hurlbert of Saegerstown, PA, Gary Hurlbert and his wife, Beth of Dover, Phillip Hurlbert and his wife, Gina of Columbia, Richard Hurlbert and his wife, Terri of Lancaster and Jon Hurlbert and his wife, Karla of Morrisville, PA; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a daughter in law, Chris Hurlbert-Gemmel and her husband, Dennis. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Hurlbert; and three brothers, Jay, Ken and Robert Liichow.
