Donna L. (Hengst) Harbold

JACOBUS- Donna L. Harbold, 68, passed away on May 12, 2017. She was the loving wife of Thomas L. Harbold to whom she was married for 44 years. Born November 21, 1948 in York, she was the daughter of the late Preston Hengst and Geraldine Miller. Donna was an entrepreneur, founder and former owner of Color Me Tan and Country Corner. She was also a realtor for many years. As a child, she worked at market with the family business Hengst Pies and Cakes. Her Hobbies included photography and nature walks. Along with her husband, Thomas, Donna leaves one daughter, Laurie M. Kahler and husband, Bill; one son, Corey T. Harbold and wife, M.E.; six grandchildren, Nicole R. McKee and husband, Cory, Alicia L. Knaub and husband, Josh, Allison L. Kahler and fiancé, Donald, Sophie E. Harbold, Ella Bea Harbold and Winnie Harbold; eight great grandchildren, Nickolas McKee, Noah McKee, Nathan McKee, Tyler Dietz, Trevor Lowery, Chace Lowery, Mackenzie Knaub and Emma Knaub; step sister Sandy Sweitzer; and sister by choice, Chloe Eichelberger . She was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Hengst. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. prior to the service.
