Donna L. Anderson

YORK—Donna L. (Jones) Anderson, 83, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born April 7, 1938 in York, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Viola (Nickey) Jones. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. All who knew her knew that what she loved most was her family. She instilled in her family strong moral values and a sense of humor. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. A 1956 graduate of William Penn High School, Mrs. Anderson spent many years as a committed homemaker. She went on to retire from the York Township Administrative Office where she served as receptionist for a number of years. She was also a member of Spry Church. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her son Michael K. Anderson and wife, Randi of York; two daughters, Kande L. Chronister and husband, Phillip of Hellam and Cindy A. Miller and partner, Troy Knaub of York; five grandchildren, Justin Miller (Kiera), Kyle Miller (Sarah), Michael Chronister (Kori), Katie Chronister and Brook Knaub; one great granddaughter, Ryleigh Mae; one sister, Lezlie Senft; former husband, Keith M.
