Donna J. Myers

YORK- Donna J. (Jones) Myers, 84, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 27, 2018. She was the wife of the late Ronald R. Myers to whom she was married for 37 years before his passing on November 9, 2001. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, on January 2, 2018 at 7 PM. Officiating will be Reverend Michael Beynon. A visitation will be from 6-7 PM, prior to the service. Born on May 25, 1934 in York, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Bertha (Bailey) Jones. For most of her life, Donna was a devoted homemaker, and loved her son and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping with her sister, Betty, and going to Brown’s Orchards on Thursdays. She is survived by a son, Michael T. Myers and wife, Tess Shaffer Myers, of Glen Rock; two grandchildren, Taylor Myers and Hannah Myers; a sister, Betty Stambaugh of Spring Grove, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a brother, William B. Jones. In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions can be made to Shiloh United Church of Christ, 2251 Willow Road, York, PA 17408
