Donna J. Garman

YORK HAVEN – Donna J. (Hughes) Garman, 74, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her home. She was the companion of John H. Leader with whom she has spent the past 39 years together. Born June 11, 1947 in Erney, York Co.; a daughter of the late Ralph and Audrey (Hanna) Hughes; over the years she had worked at Karn’s Grocery Store, the former Darrenkamps Market; and seasonally at Ski Roundtop. Donna loved to go fishing with John and reading a good book. In addition to her companion, Ms. Garman is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. Garman of Dillsburg; a son, Theodore “Ted” Garman, Jr. of Camp Hill; siblings, Patricia Garman of Dover, Sharon Runkle of Felton, Phyllis Matthews of York, Cheryl Archer of New Freedom, Ralph Hughes, Jr. of Dover and Donald Hughes.
