Donald W. Dremel

S. RENOVO - Donald W. “Don” Dremel, age 79, died at Bucktail Medical Center on Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born in Renovo on Oct. 22, 1931, a son of the late John and Frances (Telac) Dremel. Don was an electrician for the Consolidated Natural Gas Co., was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a life member of the American Legion. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era. Surviving is his wife: Mildred “Millie” Dremel, sons: Ronald “Ron”(Cathy) Dremel of Hyner and Raymond (Cathy) Dremel of Batavia, Illinois, daughters: Linda (Joe) Rogers of Unityville, Pa. and Janet (Ken) Masri of Downingtown, Pa. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by three brothers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Renovo on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Charles Ugo celebrating. The family will receive friends at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday before proceeding to Church for Mass. Private family interment will be held at the family’s convenience in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Clinton Chapter of American Cancer Society, 1948 E.
