Donald L. Holsinger

ETTERS- Donald L. Holsinger, 82, of Fairview Township, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Margaret (Sorenson) Holsinger. The couple celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on September 27, 2016. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street in Lewisberry, with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. Certified Celebrant Kasie J. Watkins will be officiating at the service. Mr. Holsinger was born in Harrisonburg, VA on December 15, 1934, the son of Robert L. and Hannah (VanPelt) Holsinger. He was self-employed and also worked for various companies making signs. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was previously a statewide gymnast and an avid hunter, bowler, and enjoyed playing pool. Mr. Holsinger leaves four daughters, Kim R. Recinos, Judy R. Martin, Sandy R. Dulong, and Jessica R. Wilder; a son, Gregory A. Martin; ten grandchildren, Josh, Amy, Sam, Mike, Shae-Lin, Kristine, Joe, James, Megan, and Katrina; 22 great grandchildren; four brothers, George, Billy, Pat, and David; two sisters, Linda and Hannah, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Adams, and a brother, Bobby.
