Donald L. Deaven

ETTERS- Donald Lee Deaven, 76, of Newberry Township, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Linda (Bobo) Deaven. Services will be private with interment in Hanoverdale Cemetery in Hershey, PA. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street in Lewisberry is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mr. Deaven was born in Hershey on February 22, 1946, the son of the late Lloyd and Evelyn (Henry) Deaven. He worked for many years for American Steel in Middletown and retired from Glosser Steel in Camp Hill. Mr. Deaven had served as president and a coach for Blue Mountain and Susquehanna Township Little League Baseball. He was a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. He was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved watching high school marching band competitions. He was a SGT in the US Army during the Vietnam war and was a medical records specialist. Mr. Deaven leaves a daughter, Kelly A. Bobenrieth and her husband Todd of Etters; a son, Michael L. Deaven and Jill Hulvey of Harrisburg; and three grandchildren, Connor Deaven, Kaylee Deaven, and Taryn Mountz.
