Donald L. Crumbling

YORK- Donald L. Crumbling, 79, died Thursday April 23, 2009 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Dorothy V. (Fogle) Crumbling. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on December 13th. A viewing will held 1:30-2:30 pm on Tuesday April 28, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd. York, PA 17408. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens. Mr. Crumbling was born April 3, 1930 in York, a son of the late Everil and Helen (Hoff) Crumbling. Donald worked as a welder for York Electro Panel. Donald served our country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed constructing model airplanes. Overall, he was an airplane enthusiast large and small. He was a member of NRA. In addition to his wife, Mr. Crumbling is survived by three sons, Bill Crumbling of Manchester, Dave Crumbling of York, and Steven Crumbling of Ohio; a daughter, Karen Roher and her husband Don of Martinsburg, W.V.; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Dean Crumbling of Dover and Everal Crumbling of East York; and many nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Krout.
