Donald L. Baker

LEWISBERRY- Donald L. Baker, 77 of Fairview Township, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at his residence. He was the husband of Roxann (Sholly) Baker. The couple celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on January 16, 2022. Mr. Baker was born in Mechanicsburg on June 30, 1944, the son of the late Wayne E. and Evelyn R. (Wright) Baker. He retired from the PA Turnpike, where he was a design draftsman. Mr. Baker was a 1962 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. He was a muscle car enthusiast and enjoyed attending car shows. He served in the US Airforce, where he was in the 12th Air Police Squadron, and served in Cam Rahn Bay in Vietnam. Mr. Baker leaves a son, Craig Moose of Lewisberry; a granddaughter, Amber Moore and her husband Jake; a brother Wayne Baker, a sister, Carolyn Steiner, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Leon, and Karl Baker. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
