Donald K. Hunter

Williamsport - Donald K. Hunter, Sr., 71 died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at home surrounded by his family and children. He was born on December 10, 1936 in Williamsport the son of the late Henry A. & Edna (Nelson) Hunter. His wife the former Barbara L. Goins died in 2002. Donald a graduate of Williamsport High School. He enjoyed jazz music and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Local 708 Labor Union. Donald retired from Pennsylvania College of Technology after many years of service. Surviving are two sons Donald K. Hunter, Jr., and Scott (Megan) Hunter both of Williamsport Four daughters Michelle Kelly of Midland, TX, Cammella (George) Fleming, Sandra (Jeff) Robinson and Celeste Hunter all of Williamsport 12 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by five brothers Harold, Henry, Robert, Fredrick and Paul, a sister Edna Anderson also a niece Vanessa Henderson The funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Allen and Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport with his daughter Rev. Michelle Kelly officiating. A public viewing will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M.
