Donald J. Chappell

RED LION--Donald J. Chappell, 78, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Carole A. (Walters) Chappell to whom he was married for 58 years. Born June 28, 1940 in Beaverdale, Pa, son of the late Rev Jess Chappell and Leona (Plummer); he retired from Caterpillar Inc. in 2002 after 24 years of service. Mr. Chappell is survived by two sons, Troy D. Chappell and Terry D. Chappell; two brothers, Lloyd Chappell and Dean Chappell; four sisters, Dorothy Hughes, Evelyn Miller, Carol Weyandt and Linda Weyandt. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
